very narrow path, a lot of leaves down, lots of overgrowth covering the path. I somehow didnt see it and my wife yelled so I took about 6-7 really fast steps and knew it had to be a snake. I looked back and it was about 3.5-4 feet long just slowing going into the leave up the hill.

For Tinker Cliffs, the "steps" people talk about are pretty rough. If you can do these hikes on a weekday you will basically only see a few other people but they are packed on weekends.
