I think people are writing off Clemson a little too early. Yes, maybe they

aren't actually very good. But you can't hold that loss against UGA against them very much. It's still early, but the belief seems to be that UGA is VERY good this year, and Clemson played them in a very close game. And they lost in OT to a supposedly pretty OK NCSU team. Have they done much to deserve a good ranking? Not really, but most teams haven't. But Their losses weren't that bad.

I don't know about sports writers, but fans at least, seem to want to buy into the notion that Clemson sucks now. So I think they may be getting cheated a little in the polls.
