I did too
I didn't care of the interviewer but it was good to hear his voice and his side of the story.
I'm still in the camp that if you come in as a "one and done" with your mind set on the NFL, you go as long as the NFL is ready for you. If not, and you're not a likely first rounder, with eligibility remaining, you stay.
I haven't seen his NFL grades but think he was a "4-5 rounder, stay" grade. In that case, and I'm his father or coach, I say stay. Refine your craft, get more education, enhance relationships at home, with teammates, and school mates since time there is limited.
In the end, he states that he was too much of a running back after being sold on Fu's attack offense at Memphis, and wanted to protect from getting hurt the following year. That's why he left when he did.
