and I also want to add that KK might end up in that situation because he has to be there due to something happening to the starter. Now, no one wanted him to throw an interception at that point in the game, and Kase and CJF were at the top of that list, I'm sure, but my guess is Kase will learn more from that miscue that cost VT 7 points in a game they ultimately won than he would have a 5 yard curl pattern or handing the ball off to a tailback. And he will be more prepared for it should it happen.
I'd much rather him learn that lesson against Richmond because he could than against UVa or Miami in a tight game at the end of the year because he had to be in the game.
And this isn't probably going to go over well, but if that destroyed his confidence, he didn't have any to begin with. Quarterbacks have to be like defensive backs in a way. That last throw does not affect the next one.
