Remember playing Bama in Atlanta


With SEC officials. I had great, box seats, with an excellent view of the field, and VT gve them a good run, despite the ball being spotted "generously" most every time Bama ran an O play and "conservatively" most Hokie plays on O. I also remember back in the 70's when VT played at Bama, Don Strock said Bama knew all our signals. Every time he would check into a different play they would jump into the proper D. The SEC is good, but there are reasons why they rarely lose OOC games at home.
