that my aunt had been in the hospital with breathing problems concerning her COPD. She was not expelling enough CO2.

Well she did well and was sent rehab for 20 days. The day before her release she was given 1 hour COVID test and it was positive. Her release was delayed while the longer test was performed. It came back positive also so she was sent to the COVID ward at her local hospital. She was asymptomatic and doing well.

She stayed in this condition for a week and then Tuesday her condition deteriorated rapidly. She's improved a little bit the last couple of days, she's determined she'll whoop this COVID's ass.

My Mom is the oldest of 3 children and she lost her brother (middle child) 20 years ago to Mesothelioma and now her sister is very ill. Mom always looked after and protected her. My aunt is a tough coal miner's daughter. She's a double breast cancer survivor. She survived a horrible abusive marriage of 30 years. She's not going to give up easily.

It's tough on Mom (she's 83) and I told her I would take her to see her sister but she said she just couldn't see her in her present condition. I'm not pushing her and my aunts 2 daughters completely understand.

I look around and feel helpless but I've decided to be here for everyone and do what I can.
