...to minimizing the reaction to the Shingles vaccine. I took a fairly heavy dose over three days with the first, and it went OK. I took about half that amount for the second shot, and it was a bit rougher...

AZHokie is right...the discomfort from these shots pales in comparison to the misery of an actual case of shingles. If you hit it with anti-virals, you're still looking at 30 days of misery. Having had both experiences this year, I know...lol
