I'm sure someone else thinks that, but I don't.

I think we played in a very hostile environment for the first time in two years against a team with really good defense and they made one more play than we did to win the game. It happens. Oh, and it happens to MOST programs. People act like this is some unique phenomenon that only affects VT.

Go look at the teams ranked in the top 10 at the end. of the September and compare it to teams ranked there at the end of the season. Teams win and lose games. Teams start hot and cool off. Other teams start cold and heat up. Teams rise and fall in the rankings.

WVU was FAVORED. This notion that VT was supposed to win and crapped the bed because they were reading their press clippings has no evidence to support it.
