I think people would end up having a lot of the same complaints


They'd say yeah he was able to make Wake respectable by getting a bunch of 2-star recruits to overperform, but isn't able to recruit the 4-star recruits in the first place and therefore can't coach them up into overperforming. It would be nearly verbatim the same knock on Fuente and how he made Memphis much better than they had been, but hasn't been able to elevate Virginia Tech to the same extent so far.
