The deer trail cam is from a neighboring county. We still have a couple of the girls here, waiting to go back to Tulane soon. Their accounts are firing up over possible sightings in the area, such as state parks, truck stops, even a dog kennel. Authorities I believe have ruled all these out so far or are actively working.
By now, surely any possible contact, friend, etc is known to police.
But with the entire nation focused on finding Laundrie, he still has some advantage and might be able to go into permanent hiding? He's used to roughing it. His build and stature can blend in anywhere. He could easily change his look. He must be running on cool cash.
He could be anywhere, and in the Everglades or Miccosukee Indian lands, he could hide out indefinitely. Granted, gators and snakes are everywhere...
I'm a skeptic. I don't believe he went hiking where his parents said. My guess is they have lied to the police, to give him time to get out of FL. The Eglin AFB area has fencing but outside of that are thousands of open forest and acres.
Regarding the dog breeder kennel thing, that doesn't make sense to me either - too easy to be spotted.
