I was sitting in the waiting room of the pediatrician with my almost 3 mo old newborn. The older twin toddlers with at home with my mother. The TV was on in the waiting room. When the first tower was hit, I stood up and said something like Oh God, terrorists. Another parent in the room asked why I would think that. I replied that it was my gut feeling after an earlier garage explosion. Then the 2nd tower was hit. I just clung to my baby and tears rolled down my cheek.

I've often wondered why the news was on their TV instead of a children's program...
