1. Overall, it was a great game. Very entertaining. Yes, it didn't go our way.
2. The official prediction thread called this in many cases.
3. VERY proud of our guys hanging in there and gutting it out when it could have been ugly.
4. Yes, play-calling was suspect. But, as a long-time follower of this team, that's always sorta been the scapegoat post MV1.
5.WV is not a bad team. They may have not been ranked, but preseason rankings are garbage as we know.
6. This loss has absolutely ZERO negative impact on these kids' season! Hell, it might even help! Tough road environment, they rose to the challenge and came back within striking distance, and we lost to another 'decent' D1 team. I think it might help in conference games down the road.

IDEA: With the NIL thing...is it illegal for someone to start a 'go fund me' with all players that VT fans could contribute money to, player by player, if they like the play the last game? In other words, today, i could throw a few bucks to several players that I liked what they did etc, or would it create problems in the locker room? Would it equate to a bounty system? Back in the day, if it was legal, I would have probably give Kam $1000 after that Clemson game (2007? my mind is foggy)
