X's and O's quote, but if Tech could have run the ball in from the four yard line they would have. The truth is that the Tech O-line was being man-handled by the WVU defense all day. They couldn't run effectively, Burmeister had very limited time in the pocket to throw the ball. You would like to think that you could just line up and run a play from the four yard line and score...but this ain't Middle Tennessee State...you gotta tip your hat to the Mountaineers...their defense severely limited what Tech could do on offense all day.
