Want to get better and more talented athletes? Win. Yes, Beamer tapered off in the end and it showed he was kind of mailing it in, but in his heyday years, when they were winning, they were pulling in very good classes. Kids aren't dumb. They want to go where they can play and succeed. Of course, having a coach like Sabian makes a difference too, because he doesn't stop. I think he celebrates a championship for a day and then it's right back to the grind.
