BYU probably wants out of our games now that they have a whole conference schedule to fill.

Replace that Rutgers game with a Pac 12 team, and 2023 could be the first year of the Alliance scheduling for us, since we also play Purdue that year. If you move Rutgers to 2030, then the 2026 BYU games can also sub in a Pac-12 team for another Alliance year (MD is also in 2026, and then another in 2030, with Arizona and MD). BYU will help a lot since they also play a lot of other Alliance teams, and they want to join the Big12 very soon.

Also, we should dump or move back about half of our Liberty games. We have way too many of those on our future schedules. They might be fine with us just cancelling one of the 2027, 2028, or 2029 games, all at Tech, or pushing one or two back a few years. Replace 2028 with a Pac-12 game at Lane for another year of full Alliance scheduling, Pac-12 at home and Tech at Maryland.

I assume it won't be impossible to get this done in at least a few years before we get to the open years 2031 and beyond.
