What did you do?


I have been to 3 VT/WVU games at Morgantown, always wearing orange and maroon and cheering quite vociferously and I have never had any issues. I was not near the student section. Go to most schools and sit near the students and you will probably have issues, even here at VT.
I don't doubt that things happened to people but, given my experiences, I see them as the exception and not the rule. I would also like to know how many of the people that did have issues were behaving themselves. Were the people treated poorly inebriated, yelling obscenities, just being somewhat jerkish themselves or were they truly innocent bystanders? The games that I attended were in the time that all of the garbage was supposed to be happening and I looked for it and never witnessed it. Not saying none of it happened, just skeptical that it was as widespread as reported. (I also had VT flags and magnets on my car and had no damage there either)
