NRV peeps - is there anywhere to buy King or Coho salmon around here?


Just to be clear, I'm talking about King or Chinook or Coho or Silver salmon. NOT Pink, Red, Sockeye, Keta, or pretty much any Atlantic salmon.

I used to be able to find it just at Food Lion in C-burg. But it's been at least six months since I've seen any. When I asked the butcher, they just said they get whatever shows up on the truck as far as the fish goes, and they don't have any control over it. I've tried Kroger, Food City, Wal-Mart, and even Sam's Club in Roanoke and can't find it there either.

I guess I could mail-order some, but I really wasn't looking to spend $50/lb on salmon.
