Computer rankings require a large body of work and not enough data yet

That unc/vt ranking discrepancy is a little odd but the best team may not have won that night. It was a home game for Tech and the game could have gone either way. We'll see how the race for the coastal division plays out.

The computer rankings evaluate teams based on which teams they played and two games don't provide an accurate picture. I'll probably start looking at the Massey site since it looks solid. A lot of the week one upsets are not reflected in the Massey rankings. Massey still has FSU rated over Jacksonville State, Washington rated over Montana, Vandy over ETSU ang Ga Tech over N. Illinois.
