One play really stood out to me, Arkansas was about to score a TD and a Texas DB made contact with the Arkansas RB 5 or more yards before the goal line, and the DB just sort of, ran with him while keeping his hands on him, no serious attempt to actually get the RB down or out of bounds. Even punters and kickers will just fall over like a dead log to try to trip someone when they know they can't outmuscle them.

Florida State was bad too, but it's easier to say that was a flukey play, even with the terrible play of the FSU DBs, that pass could've easily been missed or dropped to begin with. For Texas, nothing worked on offense, defense, or even special teams. They looked completely overmatched by a program who, while admittedly has gotten better than the 2-10 seasons a couple years ago, has ranged from a bottom-feeder to a 1-game-over-.500 the last 20 years (minus a couple years with McFadden).

For all the energy they spent in the offseason to die on the stupidest hill possible for the football band, they sure forgot to spend any on actual football.
