It sounds like the "trying to get pregnant" is her reason for not getting
the vaccine. I know we have a pregnant friend who wanted to get vaccinated after she found out she was pregnant and they told her she had to wait until her second trimester. In this case it sounds like the employee wanted to have try to have a baby and realized that that was incompatible with getting the vaccine and that not being able to get vaccinated either made her more vulnerable at her job or was required by her job (not sure if ESPN requires it or not) and so she decided to step away and focus on getting pregnant. That's very different than people who refuse to get vaccinated just b/c they don't want to and think that they should be able to keep their jobs regardless of what their employer says.
