Nonetheless, with an effective vaccine widely available the risk/reward calculation of "keep things open" vs "protect the citizens at all costs" has moved firmly towards the former. There do not exist enough people who (a) recognize COVID's danger and (b) refuse the vaccine to shut much of anything down.
