Back during basketball season I posted a few stories from my website and one or two people said they were getting messages from their antivirus programs saying there was something wrong with my site. This set off a series of conversations with my host where we scanned everything, checked every blacklist there was, and I even rebuilt the site with fresh copies of the OS, templates, etc. and uploaded them. But still every now and then, someone would say they were still getting warnings.

This week, the host suggested I start asking people what the antivirus was when there was an issue. It was always AVG so I contacted them. Today I got this:

"Thank you for contacting AVG.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused. The detection by AVG was incorrect and was removed in a recent AVG update, please wait at least 24 hours.”

Apparently they've had my site on a blacklist for years. And I never would have known about it if it weren't for a few posters on this board. So thank you!
