you make a valid point about his role (at least part of it). but over promising and not delivering is not a great strategy. This is a season where they were supposed to launch themselves into the next level. Legitimately give Clemson a run for their money. It took a big hit in week one. He would be better served by pulling back on the rhetoric some and making sure his team performs. Talking about winning out at this point is not in his or his team's best interest (IMO). The Dabo Swinney salesman approach works because he also backs it up with winning.
