I don’t know what started that but suspect someone threw a water bottle at him. Water bottles were being thrown for much of the game. I was splashed several times. The confrontation between the UNC dude and a large group of students that he charged had been going on for a while. In fact, the police intervened maybe five minutes before the scrum.

I don’t condone the behavior of the UNC dude, but the behavior of the students was obnoxious, immature and unsportsmanlike. If fact, I liken their behavior to that of WVU fans, which we all complain about.
