What a turnaround by that position group in 12 months. Yes injuries and covid ravaged that group last year, but I don't think anyone could have seen them utterly dominate like they did tonight. It's one game, but the summer rumblings that they were not just deeper than last 2 years but overall much better rang true tonight.
Hats off to that group. If they can stay healthy they will terrorize people all year. That UNC squad had 5 returning linemen. That squad destroyed your front 7 last year, but not today. Also getting up early had to help get them off establishing a run and wearing the front 7 down vs last year where they beat the front seven like a drum from the 1st snap.
The backend held up too, but 6 sacks and a bunch of hurries. Good sign.
