If VT has decent running game, I wouldn't be too concerned about our O.


Herbert was a special RB. These RB's have to be able make basic blocks & hold on to the freakin' ball. 2 fumbles by our 2 RB's are unacceptable, stopped momentum, stopped TD's. Our top 2 RB's: 14 carries for 18 yards and 2 fumbles. Make the RB's carry the ball to class every day, sleep with it, eat with it, until they learn they have to protect it. But overall good game by O in 1st half, but 2nd half cold turkey. Good game by Lunch Pail D throughout the game. 3 int's & 6 sacks on NFL-hyped QB saved the game. Proud of our players, they hung in there, never gave up, gutsy gritty win, great start 1-0.
