said it was because Cam wouldn't make a good backup. He has a starter mentality.. This guy likened it (in a locker room) to a General being demoted to a Colonel, and then having to lead the same troops...It wouldn't end well according to Lombardi. I don't know if that is true of not, BUT his game and plays designed for him are completely different and it would be tough to adjust to him coming in as a backup....
