There are no players from the Beamer era. The only senior on the team that the Beamer staff could have recruited is Emmanuel Belmar (who now is medically retired). Yes, Fu may have landed so recruited from the Beamer staff, but Bud Foster was still there. Move on from the past. It goes back to adapt or die, and at this point, if Fu doesn't win 8+ games this year, it's time to move on from him. Not trying to be rude, but I don't know what Fu did to piss most people off but get over it. Beamer was ageing out and Fu at the time was the best option and the promising future. And the pandemic did not help at all last year (for anyone), and losing plays because of the truth Fu would give them, and they leave, and no one hears about them again. I can go on, But the one thing that stands out to me is his plan that Fu walked in on day one and hired like six consulting officials and the upgrades to the facilities. Not sure the exact number of officials. He called his five-year plan. In the early signing period, as he has said, to the slow success of recruiting, "we are reaping the benefits"—also, the new Student-Athletic dorms helps.
