Happy to be home...
Bryce and I got in late Thursday night, and boy are we glad to be back in Blacksburg. After some tight connections, delays and no luggage, we made it! Travel to and from couldn't have been much worse, and we are still without baggage, but the accommodations in Russia were excellent. After a tough first match, which probably should have been the final, Bryce got mentally tough, made weight before he knew he was back in, and crushed the next day. This experience is going to spring board Bryce into his next 3 years as a Hokie. The competition, the international travel experience and the knowledge he gained will be invaluable as he navigates the rest of his college and international career. Thank you to all our SERTC and Hokie Wrestling Supporters who make these experiences possible. And for me I am eternally grateful for the opportunities afforded me through these young men who represent VT, the SERTC and our great country.
In the next 2-3 weeks I will try and jump on here and run down our annual depth chart and try and answer any questions you Hokie Faithful may have. We are getting real close on a handful of Big Time 2022 recruits, as well as starting our 2023 haul. Talk soon and Go Hokies!
