Not sure you could be further from the truth.


Just the facts directly from quarterly report a few weeks ago and Q1 earlier this year.

Cable Communications Total Customer Relationship Net Additions Were 380,000, the Best First Quarter Result on Record; Total Broadband Customer Net Additions Were 461,000

For Q2 Comcast said net adds for high-speed internet customers were its highest ever for a second-quarter performance. The company also had its best second quarter for total customer relationships, adding 294,000.

That says Comcast ADDED over 600K customers the first half of 2021. Sort of opposite of the claim that people are cutting the cord and no longer customers. If you want to argue that cutting the cord only means dropping cable television let's talk.

Disney / Comcast contract expires at end of 2021. Maybe the two will come to an agreement on price per subscriber but sure doesn't look like Disney has much leverage to force a deal at prices they want.
