It's right next door for them. They'll work with any regime without judgement if it puts money in China's pockets. I predict a lengthy honeymoon period where China will provide diplomatic shelter for the Taliban in exchange for exploiting them economically, but then china will run into trouble at some point when their interests diverge. Honestly, it's probably not the worst thing for China to fill a bit of the vacuum in Afghanistan, frankly, they can have it.
