You said recruiting would be better, THAT's what I said would be barely average in SEC, not an 8-4 record, and our improved recruiting would still be average in the SEC - better than now - with better competition - and IMHO much less chance of a CFP appearance.

We've been 2nd in the Coastal (at least in the discussion for the ACCCG at some point in the season) or better for 13 of the past 20 years - including 3 of the last 5 years - with 7 appearances in the ACCCG - no way we come close to that in SEC.
