Grant of Rights

All the schools in the ACC "sold" the television broadcast rights to the ACC until June 30, 2036. In exchange the ACC gives each school in the conference an equal share of the income it receives for selling the broadcast rights to a network. It was one of the demands that Disney/ESPN made in order for Disney/ESPN starting the ACC Network. The GOR binds all the schools together in the conference for the term as a deterrent to one of the schools leaving the conference. The Big 12, Big 10, ACC, and PAC 12 all have one. Not sure if the SEC does, but they may have one due to ESPN starting up the SEC Network.
