Not punting the ball out of bounds late against Boise State ....


... has to rank up there for me. They had almost broken TD returns on the two punts before that. Beamer could have punted the ball out of bounds and had BSU starting on about their own 20 or 25. Instead, he elects to kick straightaway, BSU rips off a big return and gets to start at about midfield. The rest is history.

Also, electing to have a true freshman out there for punt protection in front of 90,000 at FedEx field wasn't the smartest move either.
