With SEC stockpiling teams it will increase its chances of putting more teams into playoffs, getting more financial rewards, and consolidate more power.

Even if everything goes SEC's way it might find out being the overall fully dominant conference kills broader interest in the sport. They are creating the long-term scenario where being a college football fan is equivalent to being an SEC football fan. If you don't like an SEC school you don't have any reason to watch college football.

Careful what you wish for.
