Probably worth a minimum of 2X that today, especially if it was unrestored


I've thought that if I ever wanted one, would just buy all of the pieces and build one the way I wanted it. Obviously it would have the 67-69 body, but with a "resto-mod" suspension and maybe a LS3.

Oh well...

One of my neighbors has a 68 in the garage. Sweet ride!

Another neighbor has a 66 Mustang fastback he rebuilt into a Shelby GT-350 clone. That car looks better than the day it rolled off the assembly line. He clear coated several of the "bare metal" pieces in the engine compartment so they remain looking brand new. It's not original, so no idea what it would sell for...if he ever decided to sell it.
