He’s not wrong though…


ESPN orchestrated this, they are pushing for consolidation. ESPN is tired of paying lower tier programs a premium for the right to show the upper tier programs. By orchestrating Texas and OU to the SEC, a property in which they now own 100% of the tv rights, they only have to pay Texas and OU. They are no longer obligated to pay Kansas and Iowa State a premium to show Texas and OU.

The problem is, ESPN is the only show in town and they know it. No one has the money to bid on college football, ESPN has priced everyone out. So, without competition, ESPN is working to consolidate the product. I’m glad someone has the balls to sue ESPN because of they aren’t stopped, we are in line to be marginalized at some point
