If you look at what ESPN did, they are working to pay less schools more to save money. They as we all know have been cutting to try to stop the bleeding. Consequently, not paying the remaining 8 schools or paying them much less will save them a bundle.

So the question is do they want to pull the football schools from the ACC to the SEC to do the same? Cut their cost and increase viewership with more high brand games. I hate to say it, but they sure could be doing just that. The Covid Financial Crisis has many companies doing what was unthinkable just two years ago.

So the honest answer is, I don’t know.
