Here is a Four Division Model

I know this is a pipe dream, but here is a 4 division model of 8 teams each. I have included Notre Dame and Navy (possibly ND's preferred partner). You can swap them out for Penn St (if we want to keep dreaming), Cinci, WVU, etc. This model keeps almost every existing rivalry in place and keeps realistic geographic groupings together.

Division 1 - OU, Texas, A&M, Ark, Mizzu, LSU, Ole Miss, Miss St.
Division 2 - Alabama, Auburn, FSU, UF, Tenn, UGA, GT, Miami
Division 3 - UNC, Duke, NC State, Wake, Clemson, USC, VT, UVA
Divison 4 - BC, Syr, Pitt, Kentucky, LVille, Vandy, ND, Navy
