Thanks again, here is more detail, and the complexity

I collected the money 2 decades ago once, and got the work done.

It was the first time anyone collected the money and it was 5 years after creation of the easement\road fund. I had just purchased the property the year before the collection.

I opened no interest checking account, collected money, had project done, and closed the account.

From a legal point, it appears I should do above or create a trust.
