Slash over Krauss and for a couple of reasons


I do like Allison Krauss and greatly appreciate her and her career, but I do get sick of her little girl false after a while. Still, she's a Hall of Famer in some genre.

Slash was massively influential. He personally saved Gibson in the late 80s after about every other guitar player in the world was playing some variation of the Frankenstrat with a Floyd Rose (grunge later brought more players back to Gibson and Fender). You could a Les Paul at a pawn shop for nothing in 1987. By 1989, good luck.
