I wouldn't exactly say "found"


They range all over the Southwest. "Found" implies they were never there. They were always there, just that current weather conditions are causing them to be out in the open more.

Ran into them every once in a while quail hunting down toward Tuscon. Once you realize they are fairly innocuous and actually help control pest insect populations, not that big a deal.

Real scorpions were more of a concern to me than these.
