Super spreader event is the term the media uses for any large gathering.


Like Sturgis, Arkansas pool parties, convention events in Atlanta, spring break anywhere, etc.

There is little data than any of the events labeled as “super spreader” events by the media before they occurred ever in fact were events where any significant Covid transmission occurred. I know more folks that got Covid at family gatherings such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.

But I am sure someone will seriously label events this fall as super spreader events as well. My use of the label was not serious in nature.
