Downtown (The Coop, Joes, Gillies, etc) where Stroubles Creek flows under the buildings, water got high enough to topple some hot water heaters under the floors. No "flooding" but the heaters were gas or electric and subsequently those utilities were shut off. Businesses were closed Friday and I don't believe Gillies was open Sat. Given the geography of Bburg it's just a matter of time before a t'storm camps out for a few hours over upper Harding, with the resulting flood obliterating a good section of downtown and campus.
