Agreed.

He was a great DB coach and an ace recruiter. As @Chris Coleman and @Will Stewart have written before, Coach Cav was once part of maybe the 3rd highest paid football staffs in D1A football. They've also written that in today's dollars, VT doesn't have the money to pay an ace recruiter like Coach Cav, today.

And of course another great quality of Coach Cav, he didn't believe in "Coach Speak". That's why his annual recruiting visits to Richmond were so good. He gave us the unvarnished truth.
