For GC/others, how watchable have the NBA playoffs been for you?


I watched every second of the game 7's this weekend, and came away thinking wow, those were tough battles, physical, no team was ever down more than maybe 2-3 possessions, just really really good game 7s.

Then I read a tweet from our former head whistle CSG, who said (about Milwaukee-Brooklyn) what bad basketball..poorly coached..no offense being run..poorly officiated..and I thought to myself yea, I guess it was. I know NBA has been trending to just so much ISO ball for years but was it ever on fuller display than this weekend.

Some other prominent basketball writer tweeted the NBA has become the "palms up" league..meaning almost every time down the floor, some player ends up with his hands shrugged towards a ref at either a foul call or no foul call. And that seems about right too.

Is it "bad basketball" and if so any fear it trickles down too much to the college game?
