Yep, been there five years and wife is Medicare July and me next Feb

Thank goodness. My approach was to avoid taxable income and get subsidized through ACA. This year we had to do Golden Rule through United Healthcare. Income timing is key if you want ACA. Otherwise expect $20-25000 premiums and about $40,000 max if somebody runs up some medical bills.
