Leo Burke, 2b for Cubs

1st Hokie in MLB All Star Game Mike Williams, RP for Pirates

1st Hokie in World Series
Franklin Stubb's, he also a CBB homerun machine, 1B for Dodgers

1st Hokie catcher in MLB, then 1st Hokie MLB MANAGER, Orioles

Me, I was bat boy for Hokies every time they came to Lexington.... twice a year for many years. Coach Red Laird always face me a cracked bat.... my fav I kept for many years was Bob Porterfield. Yes, he was a pitcher for Senators. I never saw another bat w pitcher's names/autograph. Eventually I used it to stake tomato plants.
