I have been dealing with the VA Employment Commission for the past couple of months of trying to get an appeal through.

Has any one been lucky to get through the VEC customer hotline? I have been trying off and on for the past couple of months. I was furloughed for two separate weeks last year in April and May. Now for some reason, even though VA paid them, they are now revoking. I sent an appeal in February...the only contact I get from them since are statements in the mail and threats to send to collections. I faxed something to them in May to add to appeal and a letter from my employer at the time (new job and moved to NC).

They say they are going to collections on 6/11. Any advice on how to talk with some one to put this on hood until appeal is made, or wouod you pay, then continue to fight?
