Honor, brotherhood, etc.

You got me at the wrong time, sorry. It had been answered, the names were those on the pylons (which I said I had figured) but no one answered what the “categories” meant. It also threw me on some of the years ... 1935? We were not at war then, is that someone dying while in service? Again, sorry bout the harsh comment, but I’m just trying to get an understanding. No one did ever go into any detail on the memorial while I was in Blacksburg other than it memorized those that had died in service.
